As a licensed practical nurse (LPN) with 7 years of experience, I have been working in the healthcare industry, specifically in rehabilitation settings. During my time in this field, I have had the privilege of working alongside physicians and therapists, helping patients heal and recover holistically. The joy I feel when my patients are back to their functional level is undiscribable, and it is this experience that has driven me to specialize in post-operative care.
My name is Melaine Mittoo an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a Masters in Public Health with over 9 years of experience combined providing patient-centered optimal care to individuals in the community.
I have worked in the public sector for the Health Department and in the acute care hospital setting. I have also ventured into travel nursing which allowed me to experience different cultures and lifestyles and at the same time do what I love, which is caring for others. I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve their desired outcome by providing a comprehensive personalized care to support individuals on their post-op journey.
